How To Use A Viori Shampoo Bar

How To Use A Viori Shampoo Bar

We get it. If you’ve spent your whole life using bottled shampoo, switching to a shampoo bar feels like a huge leap. It’s just weird, right? Not as much as you might think. In fact, we’d say it’s a pretty great experience.

Shampoo bars are long-lasting, providing you with 30-60 washes from each bar. Plus, they’re great for the environment. We never, ever, use plastic packaging. And our bars are the only ones made with Longsheng rice, the key ingredient credited with giving the women of the Red Yao tribe their legendary long, healthy hair

Still, we know it’s a new experience, so we’ve put together some step-by-step instructions for using a Viori shampoo bar.

Step 1: Soak Your Hair

You’ll want to start by using warm water to saturate your hair thoroughly. That will help you work up a nice lather when it’s time to add the shampoo. Pretty simple so far, right?

Step 2:  Take Out Your Bar

Now is the time to take out your shampoo bar. Rub it in the palm of your hand for a few seconds to moisten it. You’ll see it start to lather.

Step 3: Apply It To Your Hair

Next, gently rub the bar all over your hair. Use small, circular motions for the best results.

Step 4:  Wet Your Hair Again

Don’t rinse! You just want to quickly wet your hair for a few seconds.

Step 5: Massage Your Scalp

Who doesn’t love a good scalp massage? Spend a couple of minutes massaging the shampoo into your scalp and hair. Really work it in.

Step 6: Rinse

Now, you can rinse. Use warm-to-hot water to rinse your hair thoroughly. And right about now is a good time to take a moment and let your senses indulge in the incredible scent of your all-natural Viori bar.

Step 7: Put Your Bar Away

Because our shampoo does come in bar form, you’ll want to store it carefully. Choose a spot that doesn’t come in direct contact with water. That way, you’ll avoid wasting any of your bar.

We recommend using our convenient (and cute!) bamboo bar holder. It provides plenty of drainage to keep your shampoo bar in top shape. Plus, it’s easy to clean. Just wipe it off with a damp cloth once a week and allow it to air dry before placing your bar back inside.

Each holder is suitable for one shampoo or conditioner bar, and they are stackable to save on space.

That’s it. You did it! Super simple, right? Next, we'll talk conditioner... stay tuned!

Are you ready to take the leap and try a shampoo bar? Not sure where to start? Try Citrus Yao for normal to oily hair. If your hair is on the drier side, Hidden Waterfall is a great choice. And Terrace Garden is perfect for normal-to-dry hair.

Have you recently tried a Viori shampoo bar for the first time? Let us know how it went. We love hearing from our customers!
